Grandpa is and always will be a huge part of all of our lives. This Blog is set up so that we can get comments and condolences for Grandma to read. Please post whatever you would like to say and I will print it out and put it in a book for her.

  1. Memories of Uncle George were of fun gatherings when I was younger. Uncle George always took notice of my presence with the largest smile one uncle could give his niece. Picnics at the park and swimming at my parent’s home in our backyard pool was a favorite pass time for our large family of aunts, uncles and cousins. At family (garage) parties I will never forget Uncle George standing off to the side with the other guys talking about cars and what was broken down and who could fix what. As I reached adulthood and had my own family a big grin comes to mine during a visit to Uncle George’s home…I could hear my son Brian who was around ten years old at the time and Uncle George talking about the biggest and meanest cranes he had worked on during his career. My son Brian talked all the way home about his Great Uncle and why we didn’t live closer to him. It would have been fun to have my children see the projects he worked on and completed during his retirement years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as I know Uncle George will live within all of us.
    Love Dolores
